The Greek Orthodox Church of John the Baptist, a sandstone building, was built in 2003, financed by a Greek shipping company. Others contributed to the interior decoration with mosaic floors and frescoes in the Byzantine-Greek style and the gold for the dome. The bell tower is separate from the main building.
