Lisberg Castle is one of the oldest surviving castles in Germany and is the only intact castle in the Steigerwald. Hans Fischer, who had been reviving the castle with passion and commitment since 1968, died in 2016, but sold the castle to the Bamberg auctioneer Johann Sebök while he was still alive.
