The Carlo Felice theater is the city's opera house, the largest in the Liguria region and one of the best-known Italian theatres. Opera, ballet and the symphony season have found their place of choice in the Carlo Felice theater since 1827. Added to these shows are recitals and various events, for a program full of events with music and art.
Severely damaged during the bombings of the Second World War, the Carlo Felice was rebuilt and inaugurated again in 1991. All that remains of the old Carlo Felice theater are the columns, the pronaos, the Latin inscription and the terrace overlooking Via XXV Aprile.

The Teatro Carlo Felice is the main opera house in the Italian city of Genoa. The house is known on a national level and is one of the best in Italy with its program, which includes operas, ballets, symphonies, but also lectures and other events.

The Teatro is located in the central Piazza De Ferrari, and therefore in the center of the city itself. In front of the columns of the main entrance is the equestrian monument to the Italian general and national hero Giuseppe Garibaldi.

The general manager of the house is Gennaro Di Benedetto.
