From the Jassing (836) - Senkboten Alm (1461m) - Hörndl Alm (1548m)
Coming from Bruck/Mur to Tragöß - towards "Grüner See", past the Grüner See and further to the Jassinggraben.
Attention: Buy the parking ticket for the parking lot in the Jassing at the first parking lot in front of the Grüner See (€ 6.00 as of July 2024)!
The journey then continues along a 4km long forest road to the parking lot in the Jassing.
There you will then have a very beautiful and varied leisurely hike of over 4 hours, always uphill, on fabulously beautiful alpine pastures, and a wonderful view of the Hochschwab area! From the Jassing via the Russenstraße to the Senkboden Alm (1461m), further to the Hörndl Alm (1548m).
From the car park in Jassing, take the Russenstraße (trail no. 836) in the direction of Senkbodenalm - Hörndl Alm. The first part of the trail is in the forest. You can also fill up your water bottle with wonderfully refreshing spring water at the fountain along the hiking trail. If you want, you can also take a shortcut along the path. The first two thirds go along the Russenstraße, then turn left (sign - Senkboden Alm-Hörndl Alm).
In a beautiful area, decorated with beautiful mountain motifs again and again, surrounded by fabulous fauna and flora, the trail continues with varied differences in altitude in God's wonderful creation, past the Senkbodenalm up to the Hörndl Alm!
Once you get there, a fabulous panoramic view of the Tragößer mountains awaits you!
It's worth all the effort and something for people who are not so physically able to make this hike! You will be blessed with God's glorious nature, with a great view into the picture book of HIS creation!
