Monument to the fallen, executed and martyred foresters during our lack of freedom during the German occupation 1939 - 1945
The memorial was built and ceremoniously unveiled on October 26, 1946, in memory of the deceased forestry craftsmen, with the help of the University of Agriculture in Brno and the school farm "Masaryk's Forest". This 7.3 meter high and massive monument is located on a hillside by the meadow below Alexander's lookout tower in the middle of a triangle of forest paths 375 meters above sea level. The monument has the shape of a large tombstone with two square columns. On the one hand, the image of Christ in life-size as a symbol of the suffering of the body and the victory of the spirit, which was made according to the statue in Frue Kirke in Copenhagen, created by Bertel Thorwaldsen, is quoted above:
Jesus, not Caesar, - not by the sword, but by the plow,
that is the meaning of our history
T. G. M.
On the other hand, there are 97 names of worshipers in two columns. Below the names is a poem:
The war struck you,
the forest rustles in your graves,
often overwhelms you
over the local chlumy.
Les is a faithful friend
keeps you in memory
his memory spring
it grows again and again
He counted

On the other hand:
