The Waldesruh burial forest is located in the municipality of Breitenfurt near Kaltenleutmachen and is very close to the Wiener Hütte. A parking lot and toilets are available. The forest area is not barrier-free and please ensure that you wear appropriate footwear when visiting the forest.

A Waldesruh natural burial is an opportunity to find final rest in a beautiful and quiet forest. The ashes of the deceased are buried in a biodegradable urn under a selected tree. The forest takes care of the grave and the ashes enter the circle of life. The Waldesruh natural burial is a joint project between Burial Vienna and the Forestry and Agriculture Department of the City of Vienna. They offer all services from a single source, including a funeral service if desired. The Waldesruh natural burial site is available in two locations: Breitenfurt and Lutzmannsburg.
