St. Michael's Church is a listed Roman Catholic parish church located at Albertus-Magnus-Weg 5 in the market town of Donaustauf in the Regensburg district (Bavaria).

The church is a choir tower church with an octagonal tower and a tent roof.

It was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1724 after the previous church was destroyed in a fire.

The tower dates back to the Middle Ages, before 1388.

Sections of the cemetery wall are likely from the 18th century.

Extensive renovations have been underway since April 2023.
The bells form a four-part Salve Regina peal: E-flat, G-flat, B-flat, and C-flat. The three larger bells date from 1946 and were cast by Karl Hamm in Regensburg. The small bell was cast by Georg Hofweber in Regensburg in 1951.
The organ, removed during the church renovation in 2023, dates from 1952 and was built by Eduard Hirnschrodt. The 17 stops, mounted on pneumatic cone chests, were distributed across two manuals and a pedal.

St. Michael's Catholic Church
Octagonal choir tower, medieval structure before 1400, destroyed several times. The nave with side chapels was rebuilt in 1725 after a fire in the late Baroque style, and the interior was redesigned in the 20th century in the Neo-Baroque style.

Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time for further interior 📷📷 as a service was about to begin.
