Puig Major is the highest peak in Mallorca. It stands out from the rest of the mountains in the Sierra de Tramuntana because it is the only one that has antennas and a radar at the top. This mountain is military property, so it can only be accessed with a special permit. In any case, it can be perfectly appreciated from the Cúber reservoir and the surrounding peaks. The views are gorgeous!

Anyone who visits the Cúber reservoir feels transported to the Alps. The higher of two reservoirs that supply Palma de Mallorca with drinking water is surrounded by peaks in a quiet, untouched nature. The circular route around the lake and over the dam is well developed and can be walked without any difficulties. Here you can discover plants and animals and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains of Mallorca.

From here you not only have a fantastic view of the highest peak in Mallorca - in perfect weather you also have a fantastic view of a large part of the Serra de Tramuntana on the tour. (An additional tip: In addition to sensible food, please wear proper shoes!!! )
