The Town Hall is located at the junction of via Vittorio Emanuele II and via Cavour and Garibaldi, orthogonal axes that divide the city into four districts. On the external façade of the Town Hall you can see significant examples of the ancient and profound culture of the city: Gothic arches, friezes and decorations from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, the fresco dating back to the century XVIII in which stands the coat of arms of Cherasco with a young man and a young woman - the Tanaro and Stura rivers - which confuse the feet in the confluence of the valley floor. The authentic coat of arms of the city is instead represented by a red cross on a white field.
The Civic Tower, also cleaned of a rear plaster, shows on the facade a precious and very rare moon with a wooded scene on which, according to the phases, the moon rises and sets. On the south side, after the restoration works, an elegant Baroque sundial appeared.
