The problem with the paths on the Pensenberg is that many of them are not maintained. In other words, many paths are not paths at all, but aisles that the harvester has plowed through the forest. They are partly quite overgrown, end abruptly and you "get lost" quickly. When planning a hike, it can unfortunately also happen that paths that are still marked on Google no longer exist. But it is very nice to walk on the official forest and forest roads (unless a harvester drove over it the day before).
