The ring wall system is located between the districts of Reichenbach, Niederems and Wüstems, all of which belong to the municipality of Waldems. This castle was built either in Celtic times or in the early Middle Ages. In 910 AD it was given to the Georgsstift in Limburg together with the Camberg farm. 150 years ago the remains of the ramparts were still visible - now they are hardly recognizable. On the south side you will find the most visible traces

Reichenbacher Burg is also the name for the mountain on which the ring wall is located. A TP stone marks the summit with a height of 459m.
