Matterhorn glacier paradise
Matterhorn glacier paradise is a whole world of adventure. Alpinists and hikers set off from here accompanied by mountain guides to conquer their first 4000m peak, the Breithorn (4,164 m), in a 2.5 hour ascent over the eternal ice. Sometimes the view from the viewing platform is so good that you even think you can see the Mediterranean. Mont Blanc (4,810 m) in France, the highest mountain in the Alps, seems close enough to touch. And often the summit of Gran Paradiso (4,061 m), the highest mountain in Italy, can also be seen. The air is thin. And here is also the summit of the international ski area, which is open 365 days a year. It is the largest summer ski area in Europe.
