In the novel "Don Quixote de La Mancha", Don Quixote makes three trips through the lands of La Mancha, Aragón and Catalonia, which has led to the creation of different routes that follow in his footsteps.
The most famous is La Ruta de Don Quixote, which runs through all the provinces of the region of Castilla la Mancha on a route of about 2,500 kilometers and 148 municipalities. The itinerary is divided into 10 sections and crosses the spaces where the adventures of the well-known Hidalgo and his faithful squire Sancho take place.
The sections of the route allow us to discover the places where Cervantes placed the adventures of Don Quixote de la Mancha and Sancho, in his universal work El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quixote de La Mancha.
