It is one of the oldest parks in Tychy.
The park itself is known primarily for three teddy bears carved by the sculptor Augustyn Dyrda (born in 1924), who, years later, personally renewed his work (as well as all the others in the city).
Three years ago, an idea appeared to change the Dziekoński fountain into ... a flowerbed. Her bowls were to become flower pots. The city, however, departed from this concept and the fountain in the Bear's Park, fortunately, remained a fountain that can be seen in full splendor recently, especially after dark.
