The listed chapel from 1905 was renovated once in the 1990s and was set up in 2018 for use as a place of funeral service. The non-profit association operates the burial forest and can use the historical buildings for burials. In the forest there is a place with a cross and seating for the funeral ceremonies directly in the forest. The property's original cemetery was laid out in the forest and is still in use today as a communal cemetery. Around this area, which is enclosed with a wall, the burial forest extends into the open forest area.
