Beautiful, mostly asphalted cycle path along the Rhine.
In Mainz you arrive below the town hall.
From here it is a short walk to the city or even nicer to the old town with many shops, restaurants and wine bars.

In May, Kühkopf and Knoblauchsaue are full of bird songs. It is advisable to head for Kühkopf on the dams. From there you have views that the developed cycle paths next to it cannot offer.
