A short flight of stairs is all it takes to descend to the roots of Naples' relationship to faith.

The Catacombs of San Gennaro are arranged on two non-overlapping levels, both of which are characterized by extremely large spaces, unlike the most famous Roman catacombs. This is thanks to the workability and strength of the tuff.
