The Forest Botanical Garden in Eberswalde has existed since 1830, making it one of the oldest facilities in all of Europe. In the garden you can explore over 1,200 different trees, shrubs and perennials. In individual areas you will find plants from Africa, Asia and the Alpine region, among other things.
The Forest Botanical Garden is open daily from 9 a.m. until dusk. Entry is free.

The Forest Botanical Garden is one of the oldest gardens in Europe. Created in 1830 when the then Royal Prussian Higher Forestry School was established, it has been used for research and teaching of woody plants at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) since 1992.
With over 1,200 species of trees from all over the world, it houses a living collection of native and foreign trees and shrubs on eight hectares (80,000 m²) - an area for friends of botany and those looking for relaxation alike.
