The Pico Viejo, also called Chahorra, with its 3135 meters is the second highest peak of the island of Tenerife and the Canary Islands after the Teide. It lies within the Teide National Park on the south-west flank of Mount Teide, and together with it forms the Teide-Pico-Viejo complex.

A fantastic viewpoint on Mount Teide. We went up with a bush tour company and were able to take photos at the viewpoint. A stop there is highly recommended and very interesting.
