a striking rock formation which is reminiscent of both the Schusterstein and the Hockstein. The plateau is somewhat hidden and can only be reached via a heavily overgrown forest path. The best way is over the old railway bridge of the Chemnitz Valley Railway and then climb up.
The place offers a wonderful view over the Chemnitzbogen around the old fat chemistry. The rock massif is also used for climbing. At the foot there is a plaque commemorating a tragedy from the 1950s. At that time 4 children were playing here and lost their lives on August 12, 1954 due to ammunition that was flushed out during the flood.
