The Engsbergse windmill is a preserved mill hull dating back to a flour mill, built in 1826, of the stone top mill, bergmolen (beltmolen) type.

During a violent storm in January 1930, the pointed roof with windmill blades was destroyed. This was restored, but too mounting costs would shut down the mill in 1934. The hull served as a residence for a while. The municipality of Tessenderlo bought the hull in 1978. A residential area was created in the vicinity of the mill. Until a few years ago, the ground floor was still accessible, but it is now closed for safety reasons.
