The lake of Kruth-Wildenstein lies in the heart of the Vosges massif. Surrounded by forests and the highest peaks of the Vosges, this lake offers a relaxing and varied environment to relax all year round.

Whether in the air, on land or on water - take advantage of the many activities around the lake: swimming, canoeing, pedal boating, high ropes course, fishing, free climbing on the natural rocks, diving, e-bike tour around the lake.. . There is something for everybody.

Kruth-Wildenstein Lake is located in the heart of the Vosges Mountains. This lake, surrounded by forests and the highest peaks of the Vosges Mountains, provides a restful place for a change of environment for the family all year round. Whether in the air, on the ground or in the water, enjoy numerous activites around the lake: swimming, canoeing, pedal boat, tree adventure park, fishing, climbing, underwater diving, etc. There’s something to suit all tastes! You can also discover the fauna and flora of the Vosges, the ruins of Wildenstein Castle or Bockloch Waterfall and the Vorderbocklochruntz on ecotourism discovery walks.

The flood protection reservoir Lac de Kruth-Wildenstein was built between 1959 and 1963.
In spring it collects the meltwater that flows off the surrounding mountains of the High Vosges.

Beautiful mountain lake surrounded by varied hiking trails, mostly through shady forest. There are several bathing spots all around to cool off: so pack a swimsuit and towel in your backpack in summer 🙃
