In laborious handwork, the innkeeper created from the dilapidated remains of the cellar of a former mill a small service for hikers and cyclists. In autumn 2017, a connection between Chemnitztalradweg and Auerwalde opened over 100 meters long suspension bridge across Chemnitz, which also opens up the small restaurant for cyclists and hikers.

A mill was first mentioned here in 1349.
Milling operations ceased in 1928. The weir can hardly be seen anymore, it was removed during the last floods.
Now there is only the basement, in which a restaurant worth seeing was set up.
