"... The municipal cemetery is located in the center of Bergkamen. Numerous war victims have their final resting place in the cemetery area north of Hubert-Biernat-Straße. In addition to war graves of German soldiers and civilian bomb victims, there are also graves of prisoners of war and forced laborers, whose name boards are often weathered , Leaves and moss are illegible. Around forty names of German war victims cannot be deciphered, or can only be deciphered in fragments. This list is a copy of the information that can still be recognized. Ambiguities are marked with question marks.
A memorial cross commemorates six victims of the Kapp Putsch in 1920.
