The Parco dei Carbonai, in the locality of Lamar di Cordignano, is the exact reconstruction of what used to be the charcoal burner's work camp. Recently renovated, it was built in June 1983 by a group of former charcoal burners from Villa di Villa (TV) with the desire to introduce the new generations to a profession that has now disappeared, keeping alive the link with the history of the territory and reviving the period of exploitation of the Cansiglio Forest by the Serenissima Republic, when entire companies of charcoal burners left in early spring to stay in these woods until late autumn. Here, in addition to a picnic area, you can visit the Casone dei Carbonai, a testimony of life in the woods, and the circular open space for the "pojat".
