The plan is that of a Romanesque pilgrimage church with a ambulatory that allows to circulate through the building, to see the relics of various saints and to pray. The proportions are balanced: the width of the nave is seven meters, the collaterals are four meters wide, the length of the nave is sixty-two meters, and the height of the closed nave is twenty-one meters.

The church shows an interesting mix of styles: parts of the nave date from the 12th and 13th centuries (transitional style from Romanesque to Gothic), but the bell tower was only built in 1827.
