"The two mills from the 16th century are right next to each other in the historic harbor district. Grain was processed there until the 20th century.
While the "Lüner Mühle" milled for the Lüne Monastery, the Michaeliskloster passed on its "Abtsmühle" to a council family. The tower from 1530, the "Abtswasserkunst", conducted water into the city and was already supplying individual patrician houses at that time. The ensemble is now owned by a hotel. "
