Few localities, such as the StrandHouse on Rotenburgs Weichelsee, have become synonymous with great parties, relaxation, concerts and above all, very good, mostly traditional, food.

Are there any better places to eat and celebrate in Rotenburg than on Lake Weichsel?

When in 2000 Ulli "Shopi" Schorpp formulated his vision of a recreational area with event space, bathing beach and event gastronomy, many Rotenburgers found the idea, carefully worded, extremely courageous. Today, ten years later, this vision has become a fact and the Weichelsee an important location factor for our city.

The tireless commitment and improvisation talent of "Shopi" and his team as well as the philosophy to create a place of culture and communication for all sections of the population, was fruitful. Contrary to the general opinion, only a clear positioning in the gastronomic market brings success, the StrandHouse prevailed with versatility.

Versatility in events as well as in the age structure of the guests. Rock and even metal concerts are just as much a part of their audience as exclusive clubbing nights, drum & bass parties, jazz concerts and over 40 disco parties.
