Beach located at the southern end of Badalona, opposite an industrial estate and five minutes' walk from the Montgat train station. It has all kinds of services and numerous facilities for people with reduced mobility.
La Barca Maria beach is the most northerly of Badalona and probably the least crowded, due to its location in front of an industrial area. It has a length of 915 meters and an average width of about 40, although its dimensions can vary from one year to the next. The sand is of medium grain, the slope at the entrance to the sea is a little steep, and the seabed is sandy. It has showers, toilets, a first aid station and a bar. It also has different facilities for people with reduced mobility: adapted toilets and showers, an access ramp and a lifeline at sea.
From the promenade you can access it through two underground passages, below the train track. Montgat station is just half a kilometer from the left end of the beach. A fitness circuit starts on the pedestrian promenade, which consists of ten machines, and which extends to the Fishermen's beach. It borders on the left with Playa dels Banys, in the municipality of Montgat, and on the right with Playa de Cristall.
