This section is beautiful!!!
In contrast to the drive up from Weißbach, you always have a great view of the valley and the surrounding mountains, e.g. the Ramsau Dolomites.
The road is very good and easy to drive, but also very steep in places.
When it becomes flatter at the bottom, you find yourself in the middle of beautiful alpine meadows to the left and right of the stream. During our trip on October 9, 2021, we were lucky enough to be able to experience the cattle drive. The cows were particularly beautiful and elaborately decorated.
Shortly before the Hintersee you pass an information point. It notes that this is the area where two bearded vultures were recently released. Based on reports from the last few months, this experiment has fortunately been successful so far.
The fact that you can also enjoy the view of the Hintersee at the end makes the trip simply perfect.
