Wheelchair accessible paved paths to the West of the parking lot and visitor center offer views of Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island. The Visitor Center has bathrooms, a gift shop, and a place to refill water bottles. The sun rises on the summit of Cadillac Mountain before any other land in the U.S., and in the summer every morning hundreds of visitors purchase tickets to drive up the Park Loop Road to watch the sunrise.

There is a gift shop and next to it are water fountain and restroom at the summit lookout to fulfill your needs

You can go up there by car. We chose this route and then started from there on a descent tour. Very wild, look exposed the way.
