The Catholic pilgrimage church of the Nativity of Mary in Neurandsberg is a small baroque building with a tower built around 1700. The miraculous image is a seated Madonna made of clay around 1460 in the baroque high altar. The church is open during the day until grilles, Sundays and public holidays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Pilgrimage Church of Our Lady of the Mountain

The Neurandsberg pilgrimage church was built in 1700 in the Baroque style in honor of the Mother of God and consecrated under the name "Nativity of Mary." The altarpiece dates from the time of the church's construction. The "upper image" above the altar depicts the death of St. Joseph, who, as Jesus' foster father, is also part of the altar's theme. The figures of Joachim and Anne, the parents of St. Mary, are at the sides of the high altar. The tabernacle, a "revolving tabernacle," symbolically integrated into the composition of the entire altar, indicates the actual presence of Christ.

The two "side altars" have the theme of "The Passion of Christ" – on the right, a cross altar with Mary, and on the left, a cross altar with a Pieta depiction. The miraculous image is a clay figure from the castle chapel around 1460.
The ceiling painting was painted by Schmalzl from Falkenstein and depicts not the church's patron saint, "The Nativity of Mary," but rather "Mary Queen of Heaven."
The Stations of the Cross were created in 1860 by painter Matthias Schneider from Regensburg based on the drawings of "Spiritual Rose" by J. Führich. The current Stations of the Cross leading to the church were consecrated in 1986.
The pilgrimage church is open on Sundays from May to October; on all other days, it is accessible through a gate.
