You can also go a little way from the edge of a part, partly over the pasture. From Doolin to the Visitorcenter it is about 8 km, back with the Paddybus (6 Euro pP)

When your feet step onto the Cliff Walk for the first time, it's like entering another world, far away from the everyday paths. This trail, which stretches from Doolin to the famous Cliffs of Moher, is a real experience - especially if you want to feel the real Ireland, off the beaten track.

Sure, you can walk a little further from the edge, partly across the pasture, but you only get the real feel of these rugged cliffs when you hike close to their edge. The constant view of the Atlantic Ocean, which stretches endlessly in front of you, will captivate you. The sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs is like music to your ears and makes your heart beat a little faster.

And while most visitors stream off the buses at the main hotspots, a more authentic route opens up before you - less crowded and with a lot more character. With sturdy shoes and a head for heights, you can embark on a journey that will invigorate your senses. But be careful: when it rains, the path can become muddy, and although it is easy to walk, there are places that require sure-footedness.

It is not just a path, but a discovery. A walk where you feel the heart of the Irish countryside. When the wind blows, pull your hat closer to your face, wrap your scarf tighter around yourself and feel the Atlantic wind touch your soul.

For those who are physically fit, the trip from Doolin along the Burren Way directly along the cliffs is worth it. This section of the Cliff Walk, although less spectacular in terms of the main attractions, offers an authentic experience not found anywhere else.

There are places in the world that you simply have to experience. The Cliff Walk at the Cliffs of Moher is one of them. It is a place that touches the heart and awakens the soul. A place where you can feel the power of nature and the depth of your own emotions.
