Boxbrunn is located ten kilometers west-northwest of the city center Amorbach on a roughly 500 meters long elongated plateau. This leads from the Winkelberg 484 m near the city center on the narrow plains 495 m and the Neidhof 490 m through the location of Boxbrunn. After another three kilometers, it reaches beyond the state border at Eulbach the watershed between Mud and Mümling. The Feldgemarkung forms on the plateau a clearing island in the wooded area of the sandstone Odenwalds. There are also the highest elevations of Boxbrunn. Southeast of the local situation are reached at Boxbrunner water tower 505 m and northwest of the local situation, just before the border, at the height - already predominantly located beyond the clearing - 504 m. The local situation is located on the mountain saddle between these two surveys and forms in loosened development a radius of about five hundred meters. (Wikipedia)
