The hut makes a very positive impression. The owner is friendly and the prices are okay. Everything looks new and clean. Water can be tasted here for free. After that you can go to the summit (Comapedrosa).

A great mountain hut. The bunks are metal and a little squeaky but I still slept well here. They give you a free token for a shower that lasts a few minutes. Payment is by cash. We were offered 2 options for dinner - pumpkin soup or pasta bake, followed by beef stew or lentil stew and 3 slices of watermelon for dessert. Brilliant!

It's in a beautiful location and it's quite big. You'll find a lot of people gathering around and it can be useful to use as a point to meet up with your friends in case some get lost.
The downhill to Arinsal can make your legs shake if you are not in shape. So save some energy!
