Diverse, small park with retention basin, castle, meadows and playground. With the bird.net app you "catch" a variety of birds :-). The old oak tree by the castle has been threatened for around a year before the fall. Fortunately, it is allowed to live and has not been felled.
Very easy to reach by public transport.

The park is located on the site of the former Berne estate. The estate, which had been leased by Hamburg's St. Georg Hospital since 1375, was sold in 1806 and thus came into private hands.
Around 1880, Charles Baron von Schröder had a manor house built for representative purposes.
After the First World War, the "Gartenstadt Hamburg" building cooperative bought a large part of the land.
A children's day care center has been housed in the building since 1969, and it was partially restored in 1992.
