This birdwatching hut is not like the birdwatching huts that you have already seen somewhere (it is also called 'birdwatching point'). It is actually part of a construction on the connection of the Maas and the pond behind it that takes you down where a few benches "stand" and a wall has been made with the classic peepholes (or rectangles to be precise). Unfortunately you can see that the thing is quite dilapidated once you are down. I suspect this has been longer. Handy and new are the information boards that you will find with birds that you can spot. But to be honest, the point escapes me a bit because you can spot waterfowl everywhere here - especially in the somewhat wider region. Finally: when I was there, there was a group of quite noisy fishermen right in front of the "hut". Insofar as any birds could be seen, they had long since started to flee. A special construction for enthusiasts :) Maybe one for the winter when the plants disappear or simply outdated?
