Young Hanoverian stallions are bred at Gestüt Hunnesrück before they come to Celle for further training. In addition to the stables, the horses have extensive pasture areas in the Amtsbergen and near Neuhaus. A boarding house has been part of the facility since the 20th century. The administration building looks like an elegant mansion.
