Sports and recreational lake Jarki
Sports and recreational lake Jarki is an interesting ecological site which can be reached by a pleasant walk over the historic hill Kapelščak, then a wooded road to the tame village Jarki, where surrounded by forests Medvednica Nature Park stretches lake, 271 meters long and 54 meters wide. The lake is used for recreational and pleasant stay in nature, development of fishing tourism and for the needs of schools in nature.
The holder of the lake construction project was the Municipality of Stubičke Toplice, which also gave it to the Sport Fishing Association "Stubaki" in order to develop sport fishing with the aim of sport fishermen to protect water and fish stocks, fish farming, restocking, educating young people about fishing waters , development of sports and sports ethics, sport-fishing competitions, recreation and environmental protection.
In the vicinity of the lake, for the needs of various activities, there is a wooden fishing house.
