Kortrijk Weide is the new district where various functions come together. Nelson Mandelaplein is an event square that can accommodate up to 15,000 spectators. Départ is the new multifunctional event hall. Skaters and freerunners can let off steam in the urban sports hall.

The new Olympic swimming pool will open at the end of 2018 and the city park will already take shape. Hangar K, the co-creation hub for starters, growers and entrepreneurs, will open in the spring.

Kortrijk Weide is the place where starters organize a party in the Depart after work. Where students on their way to the swimming pool in Hangar K come to watch because the lights are still on in the evening.
