The Grand Canal is the largest canal in the city of Venice, the largest wetland in this country thanks to the multiple channels of different length and width that irrigate it, in Italy. This runs through Venice in an S and is followed in size and importance by the Canal Regio or Cannaregio.

The Scalzi is one of the most popular bridges in Venice. In the immediate vicinity is the main station S. Lucia, not far from the southern entrance is the Piazzale Roma with the bus station. Next to the bridge is the Ferrovia stop, which is served by Vaporetto and Motoscafi.
Especially in the evening, the view when the sky is clear is a gift.
