It is a nice route, we marked it many years ago, I think it is no longer approved but it is not necessary either. It is highly recommended to visit the Casa del Parque; from there you have the path in ascent between black pines and juniper. We arrived at a construction on the ground, they are the old lime kilns, based on heating the rocks they took out the lime. From there the trail heads NE along the path already entering the Sierra de Nafría de Ucero to go down to Valdecea. Another option before going down to Valdecea is to go down through the eye of the devil to the hermitage and extend the route a little more.
