Tibidabo is, at 512 meters above sea level, the highest peak in the Collserola mountain range, in the municipality of Barcelona. It is popular for its views over the city and for its natural spaces, which are used for recreational purposes.

The Tibidabo hill began to be urbanized at the end of the 19th century, at the initiative of Dr. Salvador Andreu. At the beginning of the 20th century, Avenida del Tibidabo was opened, which quickly became an area for Barcelona's upper class, urbanizing with beautiful modernist-style buildings built by the best architects of the time. In 1901, the Blue Tram was built, which ran along this avenue to the foot of the funicular that goes to the top of the mountain.

I recommend taking the elevator to go up to the towers. The price is € 4 and the views of Barcelona are spectacular.
