An artificial island standing on 132 tulip-shaped pillars. Many paths and a number of trees invite you to stroll and linger, and various artists often perform in the amphitheater. Admission is free. If too many visitors want to come to the island, numbers are given out to reduce the rush. Since the island protrudes quite far into the water and is up to 20m high, it offers wonderful views of the city.

The island is definitely worth a visit, even if it is busy. But the building next door is worth it too - lots of tasty food options and a rooftop terrace with great views of Little Island and fewer people. When the weather is nice, it's best to take something with you in the market hall and then eat upstairs :-)

Island built on the site of Pier 55 with lots of sound games to try out. Unfortunately, the kiosks are closed in winter, but they are definitely worth a visit.

Definitely worth a trip! This New York highlight has only been open to the public since 2021. Not only the extraordinary architecture, no, also the view from "little Island" over the Hudson river to New Jersey and down to the Statue of Liberty is breathtaking and makes this place an unforgettable moment of every stay in New York!

No reservations to enter Little Island needed any day before 12pm or all day Monday – Thursday!
A Timed Entry reservation is required to enter the park after 12:00 pm Thursday–Sunday, May 12, 2022 through September 18, 2022.
