Vallon des Auffes is a district with a picturesque fishing port in the 7th arrondissement of Marseille, located on the Mediterranean Sea. It owes its name to Auffe, a grass that used to be used to make ship ropes. There is a bridge over the harbor with the Corniche Président John Kennedy coastal road.
