In the seaside town of Pénestin, the gold mine beach is a long strip of sand topped with cliffs in colors reminiscent of the precious metal. Beyond the color, the beach takes its name from a mining operation opened at the beginning of the 19th century, quickly closed due to the costs involved.

A high cliff with ocher shades overlooking the sea... The two kilometer long beach will seduce you. If its colors are reminiscent of precious metal, it is not by chance.
