A square charming building that was built for Cezayirli Gazi Hasan Pasa or Hasan Pasha of Algiers. He lived from 1713 to 1790 and was bought as a Georgian slave in Eastern Turkey by a merchant from Tekirdag, who raised him like one of his own sons.

He became an Ottoman admiral and grand vizier and although he was resident in the city of Çeşme, this hunting lodge belonged to him. As a colorful character, he took his pet lion everywhere. Cezayirli Gazi Hasan Pasha was an Ottoman naval officer, military leader and politician. Between 1766 and 1789 he was commander of the Ottoman Navy several times and from 1770 he held the title of Kapudan Pasha. He modernized the fleet and put down various uprisings. Shortly before his death in 1789, he was appointed Grand Vizier. His nickname was Palabıyık.

Just outside there is an entrance in the ground and a tunnel that seems to lead to the house. This could have been used to enter the building's basement, but I can't be sure. There also appear to be indications of a fountain inside the building. The ornate vantage points on every corner on the roof of the building would have provided spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. One of the corner structures is missing, likely earthquake damage.
