The Steinerne Rinne bei Wolfsbronn is a captivating natural monument nestled southwest of Wolfsbronn, a district of Meinheim, within the scenic Altmühltal Nature Park in Bavaria, Germany. This unique geological formation, situated on the Hahnenkamm ridge of the Franconian Jura mountain range, is a continuously growing, moss-covered calcareous tufa channel. Stretching over 120 meters in length and reaching up to 1.60 meters in height, it showcases a rare process where highly calcareous spring water deposits limestone, gradually elevating the stream…

It's fantastic how quickly the water rushes through the gutter without anything going wrong. An absolute must for every nature lover who comes to this area. Admission is free and it is located near a larger parking lot. So it's definitely worth a short visit.
