The Nordic Garden belongs to the park Sanssouci of Potsdam. It is located east of the Orangerie and north of Maulbeerallee. The garden was built in the years 1860 and 1861, after the demolition of old greenhouses from the time of Frederick II. Deviating from the curved lines of Lenné's landscape design, the garden was created with a straight-lined path.
The northern location of the garden also determined his name. He impresses with its variety of conifers.
