Sperkhermstein is a small mountain peak in the Vienna Woods that is 563 meters high. It has a summit cross and a summit book donated by the three men who built the summit in 1996: Sperker Franz, Hermann Walter and Steiner Hans. The name Sperkhermstein is made up of the first letters of their family names. The peak is near Mödling and is a popular destination for hikers who want to enjoy nature and the views. There are several hiking trails that lead to Sperkhermstein, for example from the Kugelwiese or from the Großer Sattel.

Sperkhermstein is a small peak in the Föhrenberge Nature Park in the Vienna Woods. It is 563 meters high and has a summit cross that was built by three hiking friends in 1996. The name Sperkhermstein is made up of the first letters of the names of the three Kreuzbauers: Sperker Franz, Hermann Walter and Steiner Hans. The Sperkhermstein is a popular hiking destination that can be reached from various starting points. One possible route is the hike from Rodaun over the Hinteren Föhrenberg to Sperkhermstein and on to Mödling. Another variant is the hike from Perchtoldsdorf over the Großer Sattel to Sperkhermstein and Schafhütt’n. The Sperkhermstein offers a beautiful view of the Vienna Woods and the surrounding towns. It is also a place of silence where hikers can make a sign of faith.
